Just this morning, weeks after he received it, he was humming, "When We Was Fab." I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but apparently, it's all he listens to. And it beats what went before.

Why review a product almost seven years old with well over 300 reviews written already? Simply because in my humble opinion, this dvd is timeless. Granted, you have to like this type of music, but that said, it is truly awe inspiring. I like the Beatles, but I'm not a fanatic of them or of anyone else. This show, although loaded with commercial (read... profit) potential, was NOT done for primarily commercial reasons, and that becomes obvious immediately. All the artists involved are there purely out of love and respect for a man that contributed hugely to their lives, and to so many others in so many ways. You can't help but feel it, even though you are not actually there in time or space... it literally transcends time and space, and that is truly a testament to a great work of art. All of the musicians play right from their hearts and souls, and it's pure magic. A huge 'thank you' to all of the artists (including and especially George Harrison) that came together to give the world such a gift.
