![]() The Ultimate TV Game Show Book $19.95 This book is by the same people who put out The Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows. While that book is very complete with info, this book is basically like a high school yearbook. Lots of pictures, some vary rare and unique. Just about all the hosts prior to 2005 are here, including Todd Newton and Kennedy, from the Game Show Network (GSN). The text is primarily little tidbits relating to the people in pictures on that page. I found one inaccuracy. On page 48, it says Three on a Match debuted on NBC in 1973, when it was actually 1971. Other than that, the book has a lot of fun facts, and is a good collector's item for any game show fan. ![]() The Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows $49.50 This has got to be the most complete detail filled book on game shows up to its date ever published. The 21st century game shows are missing, but hopefully a revised edition will come out. The hosts, networks, air dates, production credits, studios, it's all here. I frequently use this as a reference source when I go on forums. This book is a MUST HAVE for any die hard game show fan. ![]() TV's Greatest Game Shows - A Tribute to the Pioneers of Television Quiz Shows $19.95 From a different era and better than 90% of the disgusting shows on during prime time now. My grand kids of all ages love to watch it with me and ask why there aren't shows like it now. Too bad there aren't more dvd's and shows in the set. |
