 Wallpaper City Guide: Frankfurt ("Wallpaper*" City Guides) (Wallpaper City Guides (Phaidon Press)) $9.95 I was planning a business trip to Frankfurt with a free day. Since tour books such as the "top 10" series are not available for Frankfurt, I chose this book. It was less useful than a free "Frankfurt in your pocket" booklet the concierge at the airport Sheraton gave me. If you have some time in Frankfurt, ask your hotel for information, but don't waste your time with this book. I left mine in my hotel room - totally useless, particularly maps that do not have North at the top of the page! If no stars was an option, that is what I would rate this as a city information and tour book.  Robin Gibb with the Frankfurt Neue Philharmonic Orchestra - Live $14.98 You cannot hear Robin's voice while playing the disc in DTS mode. And other listening modes are also bad.  The Importance of What We Care About: Philosophical Essays $15.99 I ordered this as a gift for a philosophy and book addict...I think it was a good match. |
