![]() Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag [Blu-ray] $24.98 Both video and audio are superb! The first 5 minutes had me sitting on the edge of my seat and I was beginning to think, "Wow, this is going to be one fabulous show" but shortly thereafter, my interest level began to drop - and remained that way to the very end. I was rather dissappointed, for sure. The story is set around the pilot's grandfather - who was a WWII fighter pilot and the grandson wanting to be a fighter pilot as well. For me, this video was a hodge-podge of loosly assembled clips - some for real and others that were computer generated, and it just lacked the excitment and realism I had anticipated. ![]() Illustrated Anatomy of the World's Fighters $24.95 Excellent publication for those interested in Aircraft Cutaways along with its brief history and 3 view of each. For me it filled 37 gaps in my collection of cutaways. ![]() Fighter: The Fighters of the UFC $45.00 Great photography of UFC fighters. Huge hit at fight parties. Without a doubt a collectors item. A MUST HAVE FOR THE ULTIMATE UFC FAN! ![]() Great Book of Fighters: An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Every Fighter Aircraft Built and Flown $39.95 I like this book. It's very affordable for the quality of the book itself--I purchased it to have as a handy reference. As a reference, it is quite good, though topical. I have had several compendiums on fighter aircraft, but this one contains strange/one-off fighters I have never seen before (Caudron-Renault C714 Cyclone anyone?). The data for each aircraft is not too detailed, but it's worth having in your aviation library. |
