![]() Jurassic Fight Club: Season One $39.95 Jurassic Fight Club is one of the best dinosaur specials I've ever watched. I've been a dinosaur nerd since I first saw Jurassic Park, (which I would also recommend all three of the movies and the books to anyone who loves dinosaurs.) This program is jam packed with information, it's amazing how much I learned while also enjoying special effects and simulated prehistoric battles. If you love dinosaurs like me or are just looking for entertainment, you've found it. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves prehistoric life and loves to learn. ![]() Fight Science $19.98 As an active martial artist, I bought this along with several other DVDs. This DVD was okay, but personally I would recommened the Fight Quest or Human Weapon series first. Both are a bit cheesy at times, but are more entertaining with still a bit of education to be offered. I didn't even finish watching this DVD, but thats just me. I guess it depends on what you are wanting. ![]() Fight Quest $24.98 This is a solid DVD set. I have watched most of the episodes now, and was impressed. The guys train boxing in Mexico, Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil with a Gracie camp, Muay Thai, Kali, and Krav Maga to name a few. All of which were highly entertaining. This may not be a "how to" DVD, but rather a peak inside each of the different styles. I would not advise using these as training DVDs, as some of the stuff they do is pretty brutal, and I'm thinking this was done for entertainment purposes. Thats not to say that this is all fake, I believe what they were doing, and even use some of the things I saw in my training, but my advice is not to beat training partners into a pulp everyday! ![]() First to Fight (Starfist, Book 1) $7.99 Enjoyed it, and it's free. Download it already. If you decide that you don't like it, stop reading it. You will lose absolutely--$0.00. Jeesh! It's FREE; what's to review? No, really. I really did enjoy the read. Some of the dialog and routine is spot on; just like I remember from my service years. More of a "guy's" book. |
