BBE MAX-X2 2 Way Stereo Crossover with Full Featured Sonic Maximizer $249.00 This is an amazing and powerful crossover with a separate integrated sonic maximizer for each channel. The price is truly great for all of that. I tried with a four speaker stereo system and sub. There was a little bleed over and loss at the extremes in the frequency cutoff, but in the sub range I could not detect it at all. In the high range this bleed over gives a pleasant warm enhancement to the sound, which really lit up my studio monitors. To test the maximizer I bridged hi and low, and with the maximizer in adjustment, it sounded just like I had headphones on. When I pushed the phase inverter, the speakers receded immediately to their actual place next to the walls, just as one might expect. This thing really checks out. Moreover, the sound enhancement is simply marvelous, and it is very convenient to have four booster dials, two for each channel, hi and low. You can really tailor the sound with this thing.
