I have always been a fan of Fab. I didnt buy Ghetto Fabolous, but ever since Street Dreams i have been buying his music. And while Street Dreams was pretty good, Real Talk was Fab's first album that actually was solid front to back... for the most part any way. While Real Talk isnt a strait banger that you can listen to all the way through without skipping a song, its still pretty good. The best way to describe this album is, when it's hot, its really hot, but when its cold, its really cold. Its going to be a hit or miss album for a lot of people. And thats been a problem with Fab since the start of his career. His albums are normally really streaky and inconsistent. But he can normally make up for his weak songs (like the just flat out awkward and off key sounding "Tit 4 Tat"), with really strong songs (like the JR Rotem produced mid tempo banger "Can You Hear Me"). And Fab does that the best on this album, as the good tracks out weigh the bad by a lot. The area that i see the biggest improvement in, is the production. Real Talk boasts a pretty big name list of producers including The Neptunes, Just Blaze, The Trackmasters, Reefa, and probably the best on this album, Scott Storch. Storch provides Fab with two bangers. One is the club banger "Round & Round", which honestly sounds like it was cut from the same cloth as 50 cents "Candy Shop", except Fab kills his track way better than 50 ever could. And the other track produced by Storch is the hood anthem "Ghetto", which is another street banger. And on "In My Hood", Fab spits fire over a eerie-piano tinged beat. But the song is easily one of Fab's best ever, because the way he spits it, he makes it sound like he is telling you a story, and its a masterpiece. And "Breathe" is one of Fab's best tracks ever as well, with Just Blazes epic booming production and Fab's signature punchline heavy flow, the track is a heater. This is Fabolous's best album yet, and its definitely an album thats worth the money because this album actually has a more defined theme and concept to it, and it feels like he took his time to put together a true album, compared two his last two albums that mainly consisted of a couple big singles and maybe a few good albums tracks, if your lucky. Watch out for Fab, hes on the come up, and Real Talk shows that he is a true rapper, not just a pop/radio rapper. Like i said its not classic, but its better than alot of the other stuff coming out right now ,that's for sure.

Fabolous has matured very nicely in his hip hop career. From the concept of the album to the delivery of the raps it's a solid effort.
Buying this album you single handedly help defeat BAD hip hop world wide. As if the music wasn't enough the mini movie had me needing more! Hopefully the short film will be turned into a full length film.
