It took me no time at all to read. Unlike some books or research that you can do on your computer it gave informative facts without being overyly scary. It is nice to have other medical research done on carrying multiples as some of us do not have access to the "best" doctors. Great book!!! ![]() Ready or Not Here We Come!: The Real Experts' Guide to the First Year With Twins $16.00 Gives the straight facts about what to expect, along with the much needed humor! If you, or someone you know is expecting twins, I would highly recommend reading this book! ![]() Everything You Need to Know to Have a Healthy Twin Pregnancy $18.00 This book is not helpful, in fact, some of the information is incorrect. I would not recommend this book. The information that I found unhelful or incorrect included: - the chapter on nutritian doesn't provide any dietary guidelines on what to actually eat! - recommends doing sit-ups during pregnancy. As your abdominal muscles separate to accommodate your growing belly sit-ups are not advised and can actually be harmful. - BUT: the most disappointing was the recommendation to take a folic acid or vitamin B12 supplement (which was repeted several times throughout the book so clearly not a typo). I would have expected a OB/GYN to know that folic acid is vitamin B9 and NOT B12. Vitamin B12 is Cobalamin NOT folic acid. I hope that no pregnant mothers have been confused by this very harmful misinformation. |
