![]() CardScan Executive v8 Card Scanner $354.19 Given the vast range of business cards styles and terms (example "Cell" v. "mobile") the scanner does an excellent job of reading the card and interpreting the information. I scanned 1300 business cards in just under an hour. Less than 150 had minor scanning errors. In all, I had corrected and saved the digital file in about 2 hours. The only consistent difficulties the scanner has is (1) when the business name is only written within a graphic, and (2) when the card text is in light fancy script. ![]() The Effective Executive: The Definitive Guide to Getting the Right Things Done (Harperbusiness Essentials) $16.99 The key to being effective in any endeavor is to focus on the essential elements in the task at hand, while discarding the clutter. This is the essence of what Peter Drucker has written about in this wonderful management guide. Not surprisingly, the strategies Drucker proposes closely allign with Richard Koch's The 80/20 Principle: The Secret to Success by Achieving More with Less. Drucker didn't categorically state that 80% of our success comes from 20% of our efforts, but that's really the gist of it. Drucker's focus on time management is based in a solid 80/20 principle philosophy; his advice is sound. If you're trying increase your "executive effectiveness" (and who isn't?), this is a great place to start. The genius of Peter Drucker will certainly help anyone perform their jobs better; and enhance their lives in the process. ![]() Executive Clasp Tie Bar by Enrico Pardini - Silver Metal $24.99 Great little item. Beyond the tie bar use it made a handy roach clip at the wedding I attended. It arrived in a nice little box, that is great for your stash. I added more photos of this product so you can view every angle. ![]() Executive Decision $12.98 This is one of those action thrillers that goes perfect with popcorn or chips or whatever. It's really intense. As a growing fan of political thrillers, this gets even better after repeated viewings. With action, drama, humor, and of course, thrills, this should be watched by those who are into these sorts of movies. And for those who want to see Steven Segal killed off in the film, then this is your first, and probably only, chance. |
