![]() Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 X64 English DVD 5 Clt $0.00 If you want to subject yourself to the worst installation routine in software history, go buy Exchange 2007. We went through 6 complete rebuilds before finally throwing in the towel on the product. During install, you will have to install dozens of server components, roles, features, all by hand. You will have to use the Power Shell to script, edit the registry on multiple machines, prep the domain, the forest, etc. If the install fails, your active directory will be corrupt and you will have to use the server utilities to clean it out. Even if things go right, you are looking at an install that takes hours and requires multiple reboots. I can't even comment on the functionality of the product, since I became so frustrated I returned it. ![]() YuGiOh Duelist Pack Yugi Single Card Exchange DPYG-EN021 Rare $0.26 YuGiOh Yugi - YuGiOh Yugi Single Cards! ![]() MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-236): Configuring Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 (PRO-Certification) $59.99 First off, let me state that even a non-picky reader like myself cannot help but to notice the countless errors in this book. As other readers have asked, "Where in the world were the editors?" I have been working on Exchange systems for the past 8 years, and through the course of this part of my career, I've read many books on Exchange. This one by far takes the cake on being so mediocre. Pros: - Most of the technical information in the book is correct. - Good book to read if you don't plan on taking the exam. Negatives: - Countless major and minor errors that can affect your ability to effectively pass the 70-236 exam - Rarely touches on E2K7 SP1, which as of my experience after taking the test today, is covered in a decent amount of detail in the exam. - Practice exams would not run on my Vista 32-bit machine. - Didn't cover all the material that was covered on the exam. I highly recommend that you read Technet articles for all of your E2K7 PowerShell commands and be familar with their options. I guarantee you that there will be stuff from Technet that you'll be tested on that is NOT in this book. Overall - Find a different book. ![]() Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Administrator's Pocket Consultant Second Edition $34.99 William Stanek knows Windows and Microsoft products better than anyone else and he's both an actual writer AND a technical guru, giving us readers the best of both worlds -- books that are readable, relavant and right on target.
