![]() Eve: A Novel of the First Woman $24.00 I am not a religious person but I do enjoy books which fictionalize religious history to lend a more human aspect to dusty, ancient text. I had hoped this book would rival Anita Diamant's 'The Red Tent,' however, it did not. I enjoyed the book enough to finish it but I noticed Eve's chapters became increasingly dry and filled with almost nothing happening besides Eve's incessant wish to go back to the Garden. I found Naava the most intriguing character and wished the book had been about her; actually, I enjoyed Adam and Eve's children much more than the first man and woman. I liked the novel; it was an easy enough read, but I wouldn't re-read it. ![]() Interaction Eve $39.99 Clean white plastic with clear base to simulate her hovering, this interactive Eve robot does everything the package description states. My only wish would be that they double or triple the amount of phrases she performs, but that could just be my own "greed". ![]() Eve: The Empyrean Age (Gollancz) $11.70 This book is bad, not use it as toiler paper bad. More like not stand out in any kind of good way bad. The writing is poor, the characters are all cardboard cutouts, and the plot is fairly predictable. I guess if you love the game EVE online and want to read a book about it this is your cup of tea. I think there are much better sci fi books to read than this one. ![]() Eve-Olution $18.98 Im so glad i didnt buy THIS cd but when i bought her sophmore album scorpion back in 2002 i though it was a a real good album very in your face kind of type the rapping was really good the lyrics it kind of spoke to me. but with this album someone let me have it because they didnt want it and i dont blam em seriously the lyrics were pointless. i was expecting it to be really good like her second album but it wasnt. it was really boring, i coudnt stand it |
