Ellen at some of her best! The woman is a comedic genius in my opinion. I saw the original HBO presentation of this show and was thrilled to be able to get this on dvd. Her humor is always imaginative, current and clean. If you enjoy just plain old fashioned clean creative comedy, you will love this even if you have never heard her perform before. Worth watching over and over.

Ellen is so funny and witty; I enjoy taking this book with me to just whip it open without feeling if I'm disturbed I can't get back to where I left off. It's snippets of many things that just make you laugh out loud.

This sitcom is hilarious. Since it's the first season, obviously the first couple of episodes work out the kinks and eventually the sitcom starts to find itself (which is why i gave it a less that perfect review). By the last few episodes i had quite a few laughing out loud moments. The comedy can sometimes be a little 90's, but that's the show. So all in all, glad i bought it. I wish they showed more bloopers :-)
