 Pedifix Arch Brace Large $8.99 I have very weak arches and after being on my feet for long periods of time I can be in a great deal of pain. My husband and I were planning a fast-packing trip through South East Asia. Looking at the guide books about the temples in Cambodia,Laos and Thailand, I realized if I didn't get this arch issue under control, my enjoyment of the trip might suffer. Over the past few months, I have ordered and returned many arch braces. These PediFix Arch Braces are a keeper!! During the day, I used elastic supports under socks and shoe inserts. (I normally wear these and know the amount of pain I have when walking long distances.) When ever I was back at the hotel, I took off the socks and elastic supports and only used the PediFix Arch Braces. They are not very comfortable under socks when walking long distances. If you are going to be laying down,Sitting down or walking short distances, I highly recommend these!! Keeping the arch supported by the strict brace when resting helped prevent arch fatigue later. These braces are REALLY supportive and if it was at the end of the day and my feet had swollen a little from plane flights or walking long distances, I could easily adjust these...that helped make these braces rank so high with me. Also, they are really easy to hand wash and dry which made keeping them clean and fresh very, very easy. They made all the difference in helping me enjoy my trip!  Running Scared $14.98 I LOVE THIS MOVIE, IT HAS MANY FUNNY MOMENTS AND GREAT ACTION. AS FOR THE EXTRAS, YOU GET THE MOVIE TRAILER AND A 4 MINUTE OUTTAKE/INTERVIEW WITH THE STARS OF THE MOVIE AND THE DIRECTOR. OVERALL THIS IS A FUN MOVIE TO WATCH, BILLY CRYSTAL AND GREGORY HINES HAVE GREAT CHEMISTRY TOGETHER. DEFINITELY WORTH BUYING.  Running Scared $12.98 Watched this On-Demand on HBO, with no real expectations, while I was working on other things. I was surprised at how well laid out the story was, and how I was drawn in. It is a dark story of a rather unfortunate scumbag Joey played by Paul Walker who is supposed to get rid of a murder weapon. Things go terribly wrong when the neighbor kid (Nick Naylor's kid from Thank You For Smoking) uses the gun to shoot his abusive step-father. From there it is a frantic chase to get to the kid and the gun. Along the way the Joey's gang, the Russians, a Mexican Poker game, dirty cops, a totally effed up pedophile family, a pimp and much much more, The colors, imagery, and blurred slow to fast shots really make this movie something different than your average action flick. I would consider watching it again. |
