The-Dream's sophomore album Love Vs Money is nothing short of phenomenal. Although there's still a month and a half left for 2009 with major releases from Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Usher, and Jamie Foxx still yet to drop, it seems as if The-Dream has created an album so magical that it would take a monumental effort to top it. The album came out in early spring this year (in this digital age that's an eternity) but I still play it like it's brand new. The songs never get old and that's a testament to outstanding production and terrific song-writing. The two high profile guests Kanye West and Mariah Carey both come off as an afterthought because The-Dream completely steals the show. The album spawned several singles Rocking That Thing, Walking On The Moon, and Fancy but every single song is noteworthy. If you are late on this album, here's your late pass. This is the best R&B album I've heard this year (better than dare I say it...MAXWELL...Ryan Leslie, LeToya, Laura Izibor, Amerie, Keri Hilson, Mariah, etc.) so if you somehow missed out on this album the whole year you should take the time to get acquainted with it. It will be time well spent.

The Dream created a wonderful album on Love/hate. I love every song! Dream is such an incredible artist and comes up with the most fantastic beats for his music. Some of my absolute favorite songs on the album are fast car, nikki, playin in her hair, and purple kisses (very romantic song!). The whole album is great and I would reccomend it to anyone. I couldn't stop listening to it for weeks!

The content of this book is wonderful for anyone looking to buy meaningful books for young people, but the fact that every 2 pages are illustrated by a different artist...what genius! The art work is varied, fascinating and so appropriate...and just darn beautiful! I can't recommend this enough as a gift for a special young person in your life. What better concepts to pass on to our children can there be, but to dream big, live well, be kind and connected to this big world around us? I can't think of any.
