I came across this show by chance.

I am middle aged and don't watch kid shows or any cartoons for that matter.

It's embarrasasing to admit, but I love this show. I can't remember the last time I saw such a (new) funny show. The only series I normally watch is "Heroes" but I now have a TiVo season pass to "Drake and Josh". The physical comedy (especially Josh) is hilarious. The pratfalls of these two had me laughing like an 8 year old. Josh's timing and delivery is instinctive. His facial expressions alone will make you howl. I predict he is going to be a big star like Jim Carrey one day --- no, bigger.

When these guys are older, I think they could have a very successful movie career as a comedic duo along the lines of Curtis/Lemmon, Abbott & Costello, Martin/Lewis, Gibson/Glover.

This is the best CD I have heard from a modern artist in a long time. The songs are incredible, and "Found a way" is the only one that ever gets old. Very Beatle-esque, especially in Up Periscope. Fallen for you, Up Periscope, and It's only time are probably the best on the album, but they're all good.

Awesome cd! Drake has an excellent, stand-out from the rest voice. Lyrics are hot, meaningful and catchy. Love this cd. jimmy

Music From and Inspired by the Hit TV Show

Miranda Cosgrove is on the cover--but she sings only four songs on this CD, half of which are adult pop/rock hits that seems out of place on an album from a children's TV show.

Miranda's cuts are great--there just needs to be more of her! Her "Stay My Baby" is a great pop tune that can be listened to over and over.

There's also a Naked Brothers Band song--but fully half of the 14 cuts on this are from artists that some parents are going to question whether they are appropriate for their kids.

In between the songs is banter from the show's cast members--some of it is innocent but one or two are in poor taste (World's Fattest Priest?).

It certainly reflects Nickelodeon's style--so if you are really into that type of sarcasm and adult-themed music directed to children, then this would be a good CD for you. But there aren't enough choices if you want to hear Miranda Cosgrove sing songs appropriate to her age group.
