This book has some good stuff in it but being a former dog owner, it was basics that I already knew. I was looking for a book with more substance, like Cesar's psychology...I actually was fooled by the title that it was a book of his. But I read it anyway and found that I disagreed on some training advice.
So for me it was just a 'reminder' book...nothing to gain knowledge.

If you are an animal lover this is a must. I have had a few dogs and they have been great. I always wondered what more I could have done with them and seeing Caesar working with them I wish I only had more time. Even though they were with me most of the time.
I am like he is. Most of the dogs that are put down is for NO reason and I feel the owner like this should have a big taste of there own medicine. Remember you are their ALPHA and they can be an Alpha as long as they comply. Which will make you the pack leader.

One of several books that I bought for my daughter who trains dogs as a hobby. Ceasar gets into the pycology of the interaction of the dog and human "pack" in order for the reader to understand why a behavior is happening as well as solutions to the behaviors. my daughter loves the book(s) and I find them interesting

This is merely a collection of transcripts from the cable tv series. If you can't see the visual, you really can't learn what is trying to be shown. Reading isn't enough.
