 The Best of The Dick Van Dyke Show, Vol. 1 $9.99 My kids love the Dick Van dyke DVD's. I like them too and have enjoyed reliving my childhood memories while viewing them again with my kids. Nothing scary, sexual, or in bad taste. Truely wholesome viewing, which is so hard to find in today's mature content world. I'm looking forward to purchasing the next volume soon.  The Best of The Dick Van Dyke Show, Vol. 2 $9.99 The Dick Van Dyke show was wonderful, having occasional brilliant frims. A frim is a comedic device in which A and B are having a conversation, but A thinks they are talking about subject A and T thinks they are talking about subject B. The authors of the Dick Van Dyke show were wonderful at creating frims.  The Dick Van Dyke Show - Season Two (5 Disc Box Set) $39.99 The Dick Van Dyke Show is about a married couple with a young child. The husband is a comedy writer for a variety show and the family lives in New Rochelle, NY. A simple situation for the most entertaining of shows. No gimmicks and pretty ordinary people especially at a time when shows were turning to Beverly Hillbillies etc. The extraordinary talent of the writers, creators and actors of the show makes this one special. All were able to sing, dance and entertain beautifully. The second season contains "It May Look Like a Walnut" - a parody of the sci fi films of the time and "All About Eavesdropping" in which the Petries hear their neighbors talking about them via a baby monitor their kids were playing with. The Secret Life of Buddy and Sally entertains with a great variety show. A great show and wonderful cast.  The Dick Van Dyke Show - Season Five $39.99 Sadly, this is the fifth and last season of this wonderful show. I've enjoyed all of these DVD's. |
