This changing table is of very poor quality for the price. Here are the problems:
(1) Extremely hard to put together for a simple piece as this. Maybe I am spoilt by ikea. But the table comes in two side frames that are interconnected with 8 horizontal bars. These bars hold the three shelves in grooves. The process calles for attaching the 8 horizontal bars to one side of the frame and then placing the shelves in - but of course the bars at this point are connected only on one end and hence dangling all over the place barely holding the shelves. Then what you have to do is to align all these 8 horizontals to the other side frame with 8 bolts and 8 plastic pegs. The manufacturer seems to have done the "8-hands per person assumption" when they put together this design!

(2) Poor workmanship of parts - misaligned parts caused even more trouble putting it together. One of the holes for the bolts was missing, and I had to make it. When I did, a little piece of the surface came off. Fortunately this piece hides behind a shelf. Two scratches were present on two surfaces.

(3) Toxic Smell - the table smelled pretty vigourously for 24 hours, and then it was fine.

(4) Not sturdy - all shelves are MDF (maybe the top one is better than the others).

Once put together, it looks pretty stable. We were almost going to return it, but decided to keep it as other options did not look that promissing either.
