 Deadspin $5.99 Deadspin delivers an interesting plot with well-developed characters. What kept this book from being a top-notch legal thriller for me, however, is Macgregor's too heavy emphasis on describing every mood, thought and motivation his main characters experience. As a result, the book dragged on in many passages and, thus, was unable to sustain a high level of continuous excitement. The old adage "less is more" definitely applies for Deadspin. If Deadspin was 100 pages or so shorter, it would have been a much better book. Overall, Deadspin is entertaining and you probably won't be disappointed if you read it -- but there are much better books out there in this genre.
