Living in the UK, I didn't get to hear most of the gems on this CD until a few months after its release. I finally got hold of a copy from the US in April 2001. For a month it didn't leave my CD player!Even 3 years later it still ranks amongst my favourite albums. It and its successor "I Miss My Friend" have been in the CD changer in the car since I got the car last March, and are probably overall the most played CDs whilst driving.This album is so good that it's impossible to pick a specific track, but if I must... either "A Good Day To Run" (I bought the album on the strength of this after hearing it on satellite radio in the UK), or from a musicians' point of view "When You Need My Love" - the totally over-the-top instrumental break is the highlight.If you don't have this, buy it. Simple as that.

This is correct. Great videos, and photograghy. This was one of my first musical dvd's. Love it!! It starts out right with, "When You Need My Love." This one is also my favorite. It pictures the first girl who just uses him only when she needs him, followed by the second who becomes his new true love. I also really liked the tear jerker: "I Miss My Friend."

There really isn't a bad video on this collection. Pick up a copy. It is well worth it for any country lover.

From the opening strains of "Honky Tonk Life" this is a good time cd with some fun stuff, some serious stuff and the laugh out loud good time of "Don't Show Up". There's the romantic laid back "Tequila On Ice", the perceptive "Slow Dancin' With a Memory" and the powerful closing song "You Never Know." From start to finish, good writing, good delivery and a celebration befitting the title - indeed it "Sounds Like Life." Whether kicking back in the evening or listening in the car - worth buying!
