This is the soundtrack for the Japanese anime "Cowboy Bebop." Even if you have never seen that worthy series, that is still no reason not to listen to the music created for the show. Yoko Kanno is a sophisticated and inventive composer; crossing many musical styles and excelling in each. The band is known as "The Seatbelts" and they do a wonderful job on every piece, from the serious to the silly. Check it out, you won't be sorry :)

The only great thing about this is the audio quality. It is now 5.1 surround.

the video quality is pretty much the same. but another cowboy bebop dvd set is coming out, where the Video has been remastered and cleaned up, and it'll have the 5.1 surround. so just wait for that release.
