I Have bought many games and most of them are great but every game that i have that has broke or not worked was made by Electronic Arts (EA Games) Command and Conquer Generals and command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Medal of honor rising sun,medal of honor Airborne These games got me interested in Video games i have had tons of problem with EA Games and updates for them and now they don't work because of system errors with the updates from EA games then i bought World in conflict Made By Massive entertainment it works great i have run Mods built maps everything and it works great then i bought Battlefield 2 because it looked good but now that i have had it for 3 weeks it is screwing up i downloaded The 567mb 1.41 update then the 1.9Gb Update so i have downloaded over 2giggs of updates for a 1.8Gb game that does not make sense but for 1 and a half weeks it worked Great i was having fun then this program Called Punk buster Started kicking me from servers Because of a Communications Failure so i went to punk [...]and downloaded the Punk Buster Updater then it spent 1 hour updating then i get on the game and start playing for 20 min then i get kicked and it says you were kicked by punk buster for a communications failure so i went back to punk [...]and sent a email to there tech support and i have been waiting for 1 Week for them to read an email and tell me what the problem is so i go to Ea games and ask them about it there answer is Go to punk[...] and send an email too there tech support all this game has been is 1 massive pain in the neck all i want is to play a the game but it won't and i think i will be waiting along time for them to send an email. from now on i will never buy another Electronic Arts product or any product with Punk buster these two companies are a waste of time and money let my 15 dollars and hours of wasted time be a reminder and NEVER BUY ANOTHER EA GAMES PRODUCT AGAIN!!!

Left 4 Dead, is a great game. There are so many first person shooter games in the world being played (multiplayer) and i have to say I was once addicted to modern warfare...well now things have changed.

positives: The game is very addictive, and fun, its fun to help out teammates, i think thats something valve has accomplished is the expectation of living is keeping your teammates alive. Other fps games like call of duty modern warfare, you really dont care that much how another person is doing or what their health status is because the game itself doesnt give you those details. In other fps games you are on your own and if you decide to help out a teammate that is up to you. In left 4 dead, it is manditory that you work as a team in order to win, and I think thats what makes a great multiplayer game successful is the good gameplay mixed with teamwork.

negatives: The campaign is a mixture of "sigh" and "meh" because the campaign is so repetitive, there is no actual storyline and the game doesnt really take you from beginning to start, you can kind of decide what levels you want to begin and end.The graphics are not the greatest or best, but that shouldnt be an issue because in the end gameplay dominates graphics. The zombies or "infected" they call them are not really that scary or intimidating. This is a plus for me because I dont want to be totally scared when im playing a game. I do however think that the cartoonyness of the zombies is unique. I think if valve had gone f.e.a.r, silent hill or DOOM on gamers, people would be frightfully scared to play the game. That is just a personal preference though as I have played games like f.e.a.r., silent hill series and have never gone back!I figure people have so much crap in their life why add more? Another thing is the bots. The bots are really boring to play with, they are in a way lifeless, but I have to give credit to valve on trying because i know it is not always easy to create a.i.

Overall left 4 dead is a great multiplayer game. The game has 4 options. Survival. Versus.Co-op.Single player.
The majority of the time you spend with this game will probably be versus or survival. I was skeptical at first because i always look at the graphics in a game, which is not important, and turned out to be that left 4 dead could end up being the greatest multiplayer game this year.(thats counting out gears of war,call of duty, halo, etc). Go ahead and pick up your copy today, you will not regret it.

I'm a big review reader, good and bad, and buy accordingly. In this case I'm bowled over by some of the 1 and 2 star reviews on this game. Plain and simple if you love fast paced, brain stimulating, spine tingling fun combined with the hands down best graphics out to date than this is the game for you. I've played several other games, PC and other platforms and NONE compare to this. I don't pretend to have big gaming experience but I have played many other games and this one is damn near perfect. Half Life 1 was excellent as well and for greater enjoyment I say buy both and play in order. you'll enjoy the 2nd that much more. As for complaints that the game is too happy or bright, this game is not happy and it's bright where it is fitting for this game, they don't all need to be dark if you want Dark play DOOM!

So cs rules! That's a fact. Maybe little old graphics but those doesn't make it worse. I think game is better than same game but newer graphs. So old graphs in this game rules too. I can't say how good this game is but everyone should try it. It's little old but playable. If you're mad about cz or cs (like me) It will make you cry if it doesn't work newer anymore. I get crazy if i can't play cs. So everyone should try this game. Good sound effects and Several maps are Great. Valve has made 1 mistake. It would be better if you don't have to keep Steam running when playing. It could got fps higher in the game.

Great Multi player gaming with friends or Swedish people. Or Russians. Or maybe Finnish people.

Good:
- Sound.
- Graph.
- VAC.
- No several bugs everywhere.
Bad:
- Hackers.
- You have to keep steam running all the time when playing.
- Hacks.
- Long game updating time after bought the game.

I gotta say that Valve is like god.
