This was a nice product. I used it on my cheeks as a blush, and it gave my cheeks a very subtle, but glowy appearance. I ended up using another blush in addition, and it looked great. Smells good. I think this would be such a nice gift for a girl who is just starting makeup age, but really shouldn't be wearing much. It gave my face a youthful appearance that was soft and pretty.

Benefit Cosmetics Eye Bright Pencil

Eye Bright is a fat creamy pencil that delivers a cool icy pink shimmery color. If you have very pinky undertones it is ok to use on the waterline to brighten the eyes or the inner corner. I have had mine for a long time and I rarely use it because a) I think it is a bit too pink on me, b) the pencil is chalky so sometimes it goes on and leaves an uneven chunky line, and c) it is so fat that it doesn't fit in any of my sharpeners so I have to sharpen it with a knife and I find that annoying.

Based on some of the reviews it sounds like people are using this on their lower lids. While that would indeed reflect light I can't imagine how that would look at all natural given the consistency of this pencil. Maybe I got a bad one?

If you plan to be photographed, I'd like to recommend against using this or any shimmery pencil because it will reflect white which might look strange. Of course if that is the effect you are going for then no worries necessary.

I like this eyeshadow a lot, is very pigmented, blends easily, and stays on all day. I wish color in the pot would transfer 100% on the eyelid, it's just a bit more luminous than matte, but still great quality!
To compare this to other highly pigmented eyeshadows f.e Nars or Make Up For Ever, I think this one is stronger color and better quality. It's also velvety in application, goes on smooth and I didn't have to apply several coats to achieve full color.
