 The Girl from Monday $9.95 I'm sorry - I can think of zero reasons why any thinking person should subject oneself to watching this morass. I can't believe I just sat through it. I am so bummed out by its bland mush I can hardly type on here to warn others. (btw, WORST "soundtrack" I have ever put up with! Yuck!) Actually "yuck" is my reaction to whole mishmash.  Hollywould Women's Cordelia High Shaft Boot,Cognac,38 EU (US Women's 8 M) $844.95 One would expect boots that sold for $845 - even if they are on sale for $169 - be of the softest, butteriest leather imagineable. One would also expect attention to detail and fine workmanship. So disappointed that these boots did not measure up on either criterion. The leather was not soft - felt almost like vinyl - and the dye on my pair (cognac) did not take in a few spots on both sides of the instep and across the seam above the heel. Sent them back. This book makes me smile with every page; the prose just deserves to be read again and again. A fun, stirring journey to barrayar, a worthy for anyone's shelf. |
