Having worn out two original 1970 cast albums, it's hard for any other version to live up to comparisons. Whether or not you agree with the pared-down concept, the execution was eye-opening, fresh and contemporary. And no matter how high expectations were built, we still were stunned by Raul Esparza's Bobby - one of the most memorable performances of this generation.

The scariest part about Max Berry's insightful look at the modern corporation is that he lives in Australia. Are things as bad there as they are in the U.S.?

Although a plot twist suggests that Berry"s fictional corporation is not typical, my own experience with a dozen major corporations suggest that his descriptions, particularly of employee reactions, are dead on. I believe in every one of his characters; in fact, I think I've met them.
