![]() Globe 0784001 40-Watt Compact Fluorescent Reader Bulb (150-Watt Incandescent Equivalent), Soft White $12.99 This bulb arrived broken, and when I wrote to Amazon, there was no reply. So, I got stuck with an expensive, broken bulb...Shame on you, Amazon. ![]() Sylvania 29573 16-Watt 120-Volt Compact Fluorescent R30 Reflector Lamp with Medium Base, Warm White, 4-Pack # CF16BR304PKCVP $29.25 This CFL has a very nice bright effect, however, it does not dim at all. I am also hearing noise from the dim switch that is not there at all with regular light bulbs or floods. If you really need to be able to dim the lights, then I would not recommend this CFL. Also, I would suggest a lower output, these are almost too bright even though just 16W CFL. I bought a 4-pack and have them installed in an office area where the brightness is fine and I do not actually need or use the dimmer. I am still on the lookout for a CFL that actually dims and has nice soft light, since there are still 20+ dimmable floods in my kithen etc. Serputer ![]() Feit Electric ESL40TN 40-Watt Compact Fluorescent Bulb (200-Watt Incandescent Equivalent) $11.96 I bought this hoping I could use it to replace the 150 to 200 watt incandescent bulbs in my 60 year old ceiling fixtures but this bulb is too big to fit. Otherwise it seems to be fine but really can't be used in any fixture where there is limited space for the bulb. ![]() Feit Electric ESL65TN 65-Watt Compact Fluorescent High-Wattage $21.99 The PUCO {here in Ohio} has seen fit to increase our electric rates by approximately 20% over the last year or two.....I ordered these bulbs in self defense. My guess...... when Industry finally understands that Ohio doesn't want it here anymore, I'll be able to be the one, to turn out the last light. The bulb works great. |
