Usually not one of my favorites of Steven Spielberg and don't ask me why. But this remastered Blu-ray looks and sounds fantastic! Also you get all 3 versions of the film to choose from. A must for any Spielberg fan and the quality is all there. One of the best Blu-ray's out there bar none!

Nostalgia, it's one of those things that can overlook a lot of potentially negative objective criticism. I downloaded the mp3 version of Close Encounters of the Third Kind: The Collector's Edition Soundtrack and I`m very happy with it. I recommend disabling any download accelerators; they caused problems with my download. Customer support was the fastest I've ever encountered (no pun indented.) Anyway save yourself some money and just do the download, you can always burn it to a CD and/or convert it to CD format.

I have 3 little children I needed to purchase Christmas gifts for. Their mother can't & I finally settled on 2 pairs of PJ's for each & a DVD. I strained my brain, trying to remember back to the movies my 2 children enjoyed; also us as a family. For the 6 yr old boy I settled on "ET". It was the best movie & I knew this little fella would enjoy it, as well as his siblings & his Mom. Amazon is the place I come to find those movies I know I can't get anywhere else & they cost less. I'm happy Amazon had this one!
