I like Ciara and I the Evolution album is what I have expected. For the album, I would give four stars rating. However, as the package contains also a DVD and you can see Ciara explaining the choreography from two of her videos - that deserves another star.

This is an exclusive double disc Japanese Import with 19 songs on disc 1 and a DVD region NTSC ALL. From all the different releases of this sophomore album I'd say this is on my first alongside the Hong Kong version The Evolution. This release has the added bonus track "Love You Better" plus lyrical booklet, obi-strip and diverse artwork. Housed in a thicker sized double jewel case and featuring so many extras, this is a collector's choice for sure!

The sound is also much better than most other releases as the volume in my speakers had to be considerable put lower from the outstanding productional sound almost like Blu Spec or Super Audio. At first I had my reservations for the price, but once you see the entire package it's a sure fire phenomenal buy that will last for decades! This is one of Ciaras huge leaps for sure as time passes and the music is still strong! The beats are fast, fresh, dance infused, hip-hop blended, and most definitely exploding with hits.

From the smashing track, "Get Up" Featuring Chamillionaire to the hip-hop "Can't Leave 'Em Alone" (Featuring 50 Cent) to the dance swaggering funk track "Bang It Up", Ciara proves she can handle the competition and leave them sweating. Every single song in this album is excellent making it zero fillers and no boring sad tunes to feel gloomy, down, or in a low mood. This is about having fun, enjoying, and being much more in tuned with certain issues that range from loving yourself in songs like "Get In, Fit In", "C.R.U.S.H." making the magic of desiring someone quite fun, and the life-lesson, "I Found Myself" and "I'm Just Me". The song-writing is excellent, the mix of entertainment, dance, and messages are phenomenal, and the bonus track make it even more worthwhile. "Love You Better" is about a girl desiring to be with a guy but he obviously he is taken. It's got the typical references many singles face on a day to day basis of "Why her? I can love him better!".

While other music artists don't take the time to change their artwork on other releases or provide a region free NTSC DVD, Ciara cleverly provides the best! The videos are "Get Up" and "Promise" with dancing steps to teach added and a behind-the-scenes of "Promise". Every song is sensational and there were no slow songs breaking the hype of super accelerated energy bass-lines that just pounded, thumped, and got busy. The interludes were also quite extraordinary describing the evolution of music, dance, fashion, and her. This is a much grand accomplishment definitely R&B sensational giving up-tempo styles a much grand *spotlight* thus giving happy moods, uplifting vibes, and party ambiance all the way through!

This is definitely not Ciara's best album, but it is ok. The songs that I knew of prior to the album coming out I really loved. Work is definitely a club record, and we wild out when we hear it in the club. Like A Surgeon is a wonderful song, I love it. From the first time I heard it I was addicted to it. I wish there would have been more slow, sexy songs on the album, but it is cool. The Evolution was her best album, but I believe the next cd will beat this one out.

I am a big music lover, and some ppl criticize or write reviews out of dislike of an artist. As I said, it is definitely not her best. I grew to like some of the songs after I learned the words. It is not the worst album in the world tho...I am looking forward to the next one
