 Wow #1s: 31 of the Greatest Christian Music Hits Ever $21.98 This is a great compilation comprising some of the biggest names in gospel music. My favourite is the blue disc which is on the softer side. Check Michael Shulz, Bob Carlisle, Mullen etc. Generally well worth the price.  Good Christian Bitches $16.95 Like others, the title and glossy Old English font in the title caught my attention. I picked the book up, read the back, and then put it back on the shelf to continue to browse. In the end, I came back and picked this book up and thought I'd give it a shot. Seeing that the plot took place in Texas and I am a Texan, I thought I would enjoy the setting. Anyways, I got home, read it, thought it was poorly written and kept reading, waiting for the climax, or interesting character to surface, but nothing like this happened. Each chapter ended with a "So we headed to the car and drove home" or "So I closed the door and went in"...it just sounded really inexperienced. I was tempted to stop in the middle and start a new novel, but I finished it to the end, and was glad when it was over. I never ever post reviews, but like someone else said, if you really want to read this, buy it on paperback or even buy a used version...there are much better books out. Good luck to the author, hope your second book is better.  12 "Christian" Beliefs That Can Drive You Crazy $12.99 This has been one of the best books that I have read. I recently had a very sad experience with a Pastor and his wife. This book has been a God-send. It has helped see things clearly, and gain my freedom. |
