![]() You're The Inspiration [Remastered Version] (2007) $0.99 why they want me to review a download of a 1980s song is beyond me. ![]() Chicago Transit Authority $7.98 Three bands in the late 60's and early 70's married jazz horns, rock guitars and melodic sensibilities successfully. Those bands were Blood Sweat & Tears, Ides of March and Chicago (aka Chicago Transit Authority). So much material put together, some of it improv, the debut disc from Chicago is a must have in anyone's audio library. So far (I have CTA, Chicago, IX, XI, 16, 17 and Stone of Sisyphus) I can attest that the Rhino remasters do not disappoint. The sound quality is magnificent with little to no audio or listening fatigue. Yes, it is louder than the original, but the mastering is very good in taking full advantage of the CD format's dynamic range. 4.5 stars if I could give it that simply because 1)nothing is perfect and 2) you get a lot of music for a one disc recording. FYI - Chicago's next two albums were also double LPs.. also worth getting. ![]() Chicago [Blu-ray] $34.99 All the world really is a stage with Rene Zellweger's portrayal of an aspiring nightclub singer trying to beat a murder rap.
