![]() Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin $25.00 THIS BOOK WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. I AM A KATHY FAN, LOVE THE D LIST, BUT THIS BOOK WAS A LITTLE SHOCKING. IT IS WAY MORE SERIOUS THAN I EXPECTED. THERE ARE MANY LAUGHS BUT I HAD NEVER REALZED HOW MUCH HURT THIS WOMAN HAS ENDURED. I NOW KNOW WHY SHE FOUND IT SO NECESSARY TO MAKE A LIVING CREATING LAUGHS. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A COVERUP TO HERE TEARS. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANY KATHY FAN WHO WOULD LIKE A LITTLE GLIMPSE INTO WHAT MAKES HER TICK! ![]() Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea $24.95 It's too bad Chelsea only has 2 out there... if there were 200 I'd buy em all!!! This girl is so real and so hilarious... not for those w/ no personality or who are easily offended. Good stuff Chels! WE WANT MORE!! ![]() I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell (movie tie-in): with 16 page photo insert $16.95 I have never written a book review before, but had to in this case. In short, this is the funniest damn book I have read in my entire life. If you are looking for silly, frat boy, drunk stories of ridiculousness, then this is the one for you. It has absolutely nothing to do with my real life. I guess that is why it was such an escape. It reminded me of so many of my friends in college and the Army. Well worth the cash! I'll be passing this on to my brother, who will also enjoy it. ![]() It's Not Me, It's You: Subjective Recollections from a Terminally Optimistic, Chronically Sarcastic and Occasionally Inebriated Woman $23.99 IT'S NOT ME, IT'S YOU offers a lively, involving and introspective autobiography that takes the form of essays showing how a New York Jewish girl became a Hollywood produce and writer. Her journey's highlights and pitfalls are narrated in a fun and lively voice perfect for any general lending library strong in narratives about Hollywood successes. |
