 Pokemon: Way to the Johto League Champion $19.97 I don't watch the cartoons, because they change the moves around so much. For instance, in a battle, Ash's Pokemon used a move that would have hit the opponent, but the opponent used Gust to block the move, and the opponent wasn't hurt, when the move Ash used should have hit the opponent because in the game Gust doesn't block moves. also,one other time, the opponent used Swords Dance to block a move. Swords Dance doesn't block attacks, it just raises the user's attack stat. That just really turned me off, because they use Stat-changing moves to block moves, that doesn't block in the game. Then there is when Ash's Pokemon disobey him, even though he has the badges to make them obey, I.e. Ash lost in the first anime, indigo league, because his Charizard wouldn't listen to him, but Ash had earned the 8th badge, and the 8th badge, all Pokemon are to obey their trainer, regardless of the Pokemon's level, like in the games. I would have been interested if they had keep it the same as in the games, and if they had, Ash wouldn't have lost so many times in the cartoon. The only saving thing about it is that some episodes has Umbreon in it. Umbreon is the best!  Liverpool FC 2006 Champions League Final & Road To Istanbul $19.99 great video, only complaint is if you don't know what happened it's spoiled for you in the interviews at halftime. they should have show that later in the dvd. That way the new viewer would get the same experience as you do with the original broadcast of seeing the impossible come true. But when TR comes, it means trouble!-The screen actors guilt: Ash gets a Smoochum from a movie actor who doesnt think that a Smoochum really fits him.-Right on, Rhydon: Ash & Co. Meet a girl who is trying to catch a surfing Rhydon so she can drill a tunnel to Olivine City.-The Kecleon Caper: Ash & Co. see a blimp with 2 sick Kecleon on board. This means brock & Pineco to the rescue!-The Joy of water Pokemon: The gang meets a Nurse Joy who hates water Pokemon.-Got Miltank: The gang arrives at a miltank ranch and meet lots of Miltank.-Fight for the light: Ash arrives at Olivine Gym and finds out that the leader is healing a sick Ampharos.-Machoke, Machoke Man: Ash arrives at the next gym and fights a fighting Pokemon Leader and his machoke.Out of all these episodes, Right on, Rhydon and Machoke, Machoke Man are the best ones. Johto League Champions was a good season, but now its time to watch Master Quest! |
