We haven't used this set yet; the wedding is still a few months away. But both the knife and the server have a nice weight to them, and both pieces have a stunning shape. Best of all, we don't feel like we bought something that we'll just use for one day and then chuck in a closet. These are nice pieces, utterly lacking in the tacky add-ons found on so, so, SO many wedding accoutrements. And at a great price, no less. Both of us - yes, groom included! - are happy with this purchase - definitely recommended.
