![]() Melissa & Doug 60-Piece Standard Unit Blocks $59.99 This set is smooth, attractive, and durable. They are the perfect size and 60 is an adequate number for building nice structures. The shapes are also varied enough to make building interesting. I highly recommend this set if you're looking for a set to last throughout your kids' childhood years. ![]() IQ Baby Knock-Knock Blocks $29.99 These were a great value for a whole set and I'd buy them again if needed. My 11 month old is still too young to stack them, but he enjoys knocking them down and playing with the various flaps on the sides of the blocks. ![]() Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby's First Blocks $12.99 i agree with other reviewers that the lid is way too loose. i would say the toy cannot be used as a shape sorter for an infant, since my daughter immediately lifts the lid right off, no matter how many times i put it down and demonstrate how to play with the toy. she does love picking up all the parts---the blocks, the lids and the container. we play with is as a fill-and-spill, and we stack the blocks, too. a good price for a toy that has given her hours up hours of entertainment, however it is not being used as a shape-sorter. ![]() Melissa & Doug Deluxe 10-Piece Alphabet Nesting and Stacking Blocks $11.99 These blocks are light, which is great because they fall on my toddler often, but it's also the reason that they will eventually burn out. The box they came in is already half gone, but i mean for 10 bucks we've gotten more than our fill out of them at this point. It's worth spending $10 for the fun you get out of them while they last. Like I said, they wernt made to last forever, but thats the reason why they are so great. If they were made out of wood they would be too hard and heavy. Now if they made some out of a durable plastic that would be nice :) |
