![]() Warcraft III Battle Chest $39.99 Ok, well I bought this warcraft war chest because 24-7 World of Warcraft (minus the 8 painful hours of maintenance on Tuesdays) just isnt enough. I actually played this game years ago, before WOW came onto the scene (and from what I can tell pretty much killed the PC gaming market). It is still great fun, very smart, and if you are a WOW addict gives you some nice back story and a way to get up close and personal with the various WOW bosses. If not, it is a great blizzard RTS (real time strategy -- I think this is the category this game falls into anyway). And if you are waiting for Starcraft 2, this will entertain you during your wait (or during the 8 hours of WOW maintenance on Tuesdays!) ![]() Blizzard $18.95 I felt the story was pretty mundane and written for the 10 to 14 yr old audience. The pictures were mostly all drawings. The story was rather repetitious memories of people who actually lived and recorded their memories of the storm......but how much can you say about a snow storm that isn't repeated over and over again. Young people might find the book interesting, but I thought it was pretty dry. My 15 year old thought it was just OK. ![]() The Blizzard $6.95 When a blizzard blows into town on Billy¡Çs tenth birthday, he is convinced his day is ruined. But as the winds begin picking up and the snow falls heavier, things don¡Çt turn out as he expected. Billy¡Çs house is the nearest one to school, and it looks as though he will be having a few after-school guests for a slumber party bigger than any celebration he could have planned! ![]() Blizzard $14.98 This is one of the most magical Christmas films of all time!! It is suitable for children of all ages (grown-ups too!) Whoopi Goldberg is amazing as the voice of Blizzard. The film will leave you warmed right through and ready to experience the magic of Christmas. |
