Black Crowes
 The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion $7.99 "Southern Music" was the Black Crowes sophomore effort and proved to be one of the best albums of their career. The band had garnered a significant amount of success from their debut disc "Shake Your Money Maker" taking the classic rock sound of The Stones, Faces, and other 70's pioneers and bringing the style of music into the 90's. The addition of a full time keyboard player gave this album additional depth and added signifiancntly to the band's sound. "Companion" produced several hits including "Remedy", "Thorn In My Pride", and "Sometimes Salvation", all solid tracks. The rest of the album rocks and rolls with a southern soul vibe, and Mark Ford's stinging guitar riding over the top of it all. Overall a fine album from the band that did much to bring back ballsy rock n roll.  The Black Crowes - Freak N Roll into the Fog $14.98 It wasn't a bad concert, although I thought that their first record, and Southern Harmony, were the highlights of their career, so far. In any case, they play their hit songs, the sound is good, at a small venue.  Warpaint Live $17.98 Los " cuervos negros " son sin duda alguna una de las mejores bandas que representan la esencia del rock norteamricano, la banda de los hermanos Robinson, van mejorando como el vino a medida que pasan los aos, y nos regalan, ltimamente con ms frecuencia, autnticas joyas como esta en cuestin, adems de su disco " Warpaint ". La produccin es de primersima calidad, con un sonido espectacular. Larga vida a los cuervos. P.d.: el 2 album hace un homenaje a los Rolling Stones y a Eric Clapton, con versiones de ambos. |
