I waffled for months before purchasing this platform bed. I finally went with the reviews and ordered it. I absolutely love this and the price, even with the shipping is a bargain. I paid a friend to put the frame and drawers together. When we opened the boxes we were concerned about the number of bits and pieces, however, they went together easily and much quicker than I thought they would. I have a thick mattress and am not using the addition plywood that some reviewers have mentioned. I can't believe the difference it has made, my mattress is more comfortable, the bed looks great, and the under the bed drawers provide needed extra storage. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a platform bed
