I was pleasantly surprised this was a good movie!

It was one of those cute little films that made me want to watch it more than once. Queen Latifah did a great job in her role.

Bottom Line is this is a great feel good family fun movie!

For a long time, I refused to see this movie because I just couldn't imagine Queen Latifah paired with LL Cool J and I thought it might be super cheesy. Surprise, surprise though, it was actually really good! LL Cool J was VERY believable (I didn't expect his acting skills were that good) and Queen Latifah, of course, was wonderful. The story though is also really good. I liked that this was a movie about self-discovery and really enjoying life for what it is. Definitely recommended for anyone in the mood for a sweet, inspiring flick.

This show has been around a long time. Because of it many other Black artists found an outlet to do their thing. So, for its root of all things status I believe it deserves 4 stars. It's not the great work of the stage that we are all waiting for. But, it's not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. Pleasant watching.
