 The Barrymores: Hollywood's First Family $40.00 You can never have enough photos of the Barrymores. Books like "Good Night Sweet Prince" are superb, but lack photos. This new coffee table book is almost entirely made up of photographs. It was made with the involvement of John Barrymore Jr, the spaced out hippy son of John Barrymore (and father of Drew.) There are lots of rare family photos, and a neat section on "Barrymoreabilia".  Best Men $9.98 I was looking for a movie for "Girl's Nite" and thought with all the actors listed - Sean Patrick Flannery, Dean Cain, Luke Wilson, Fred Ward, and Drew Barrymore - how bad could it be? As it turns out, very, very bad! The movie opens to four men in their underwear getting dressed into tuxedos. This should have given me a clue. They go to pick up their best friend, straight out of jail, for his immediate wedding. A highly implausible script does not encourage continued viewing. One of the guys begs to be dropped off at a bank before heading to the wedding. Here a bumbling bank robbery plot takes over. There are funny moments but not enough to warrant watching this film. I suppose casting good looking male actors was suppose to be enough.....  Babes In Toyland (1986) $22.60 I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS MOVIE TO DEATH, BUT IT'S ONLY ON VHS. IT'S ONE OF THE BEST VERSIONS OF BABES IN TOYLAND IN MY OPINION. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO GET THIS IN DVD FORM, LET ME KNOW I'D DO ANYTHING TO FIND IT. LET ME KNOW IT WOULD REALLY MAKE MY HOLIDAY AND YEAR. AND YOU IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOVIE AND STILL HAVE A VHS BUY IT ASAP, WHY YOU STILL READING, BUY IT NOW!!! |
