Do you remember "The Summer of Love" ? Do you remember "The Dawning of the Age of Aquarius (Where Peace will rule the planets and Love will steer the stars ... ) ? Well, this is the standard for the vision portrayed as Barbarella treks to far off galaxies on a quest to apprehend Duran Duran and return him to Justice. In retrospect she seems to be overly starry-eyed, perhaps even ditzy or air-headed, but those are all tolerable traits in a naked lady. Are there parallels to "The Wizard of Oz" ? Certainly there is Wonder in abundance. In the end Justice is served all around.

Got the unrated version so that it wasn't all cut up. I swear Americans are kind of backward at seeing flesh, but since I'm American I understand the Disney mentality - yet I guess that's what might spark more interest in these kinds of flix. Plus Ed hadn't seen the full on version so I HAD to add it to our vid library collection. A must-see IF you're mature enough to handle it.

The reason I say not historically accurate is that recent digs show that Caligula (Gaius Cesar) more than likely really DID try to invade Briton (aka Britain) and not just fight reeds; history notes that he died alone when leaving the gladiator games arena for lunch but his wife and child were indeed purported to have been killed as shown.

Just Google true history on it and you'll be more enlightened - if you have time - reading / watching weird stuff is just a hobby of mine. I don't limit me from any kind of knowledge ;-)

Every movie collector should have a few bad and I mean real bad attempts to make a movie movie in their collection. It reminds us of what can go wrong and how good it is when done right. This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Not the worst but worthy of being included in a collection for being bad story, bad acting, bad sets, and of course all around bad ideal in the first place! No story line here that two horny teens drunk on dad's beer could not have written on a dateless Friday night! If you are looking for a movie to exploit women...this won't do it...they lack even that! But if you want an example of bad...this is a good pick.
