I got these for my 14 year old son for his birthday and he absolutely loves them! He enjoys making all types of shapes, spheres, squares...they have opposite poles so he has to figure out how they go together. It comes with 216 magnets which sound like a lot, but they are tiny. The only complaint my son has is that he wants more of them. I would suggest buying 2 or more sets or a larger set.

The ball is so hard to even get together, let alone make it stay together.

When I visit my granddaughter, I have a treat for her every day of my visit. I purchased several hamsters and the fun house and 3 add on pieces. While I didn't get the BEST prices ... I did get better results elsewhere than Amazon. I gave my granddaughter two hamsters when I arrived, and gave her the ball today. Well. The ball is a flop. The stabilizer piece doesn't work well enough to keep the hamster upright inside the ball, which falls apart after the child picks it up trying to right the hamster. Super glue might help, but it's frustrating.

So, I saved the day by digging out the fun house which I was saving for tomorrow. Fun house is cute.

I'd recommend skipping the ball.

Based on the comments, we can easily see what the vendors think of their customers. I'm surprised that Amazon is allowing their reputation to be risked.

ball seems to be working pretty well. the pump was REAL cheap; broke during the pumping up, but i was able to just tape it up and it worked fine. all in all, you're lucky to get it for $13 or whatever as it is.

My grandson, age l3 months, loved the ball as soon as he saw it.
It has bright colors and is easy to grab. The sound made when it is rolling is playful and he quickly walks or crawls after it. I was very glad that I bought it. I thought the ball was small when I first saw it but it turned out to be perfect for him to easily pick up or throw. It's a fun toy!
