Bag Tote
 Fit & Fresh Tote Bag $17.99 I work thirteen-hour days, and so needed a lunch bag that would hold my 52-ounce water bottle, as well as numerous containers. I had previously ordered the LeatherCraft 27-Pocket Tote/Cooler Bag from Amazon, but that thing was much too big -- almost like carrying a small suitcase. This Fit & Fresh bag works great! I don't use the Fit & Fresh system, but still find that all my containers and water bottle fit into it really well. The inside contains two small pockets, both of which have a velcro-tab closure, along with a stretchy loop designed to hold a smaller water bottle in place. The outside pocket also has a velcro closure, and the bag itself has a strong magnetic strap that seals it shut across the top. It's nice to have this closure when carrying this bag, along with other work bags, in and out of the office. (I once had to chase a rolling apple that escaped from a former open-topped lunch sack across the parking lot early one morning . . . .) As for the loop handles, they're a bit too short to comfortably wear over your shoulder, but are still nice for carrying the sack easily. The material is also really nice, and is much more durable-looking that it appears in the photo. (I had been apprehensive about spending so much again on a lunch sack, but this really is a nice one.) It's a coated vinyl-like fabric that should hold up well after continued use. It also folds flat for storage. I'll try to remember to update this after I've had it a few months, but so far it's of nice quality.  Easton Tote Bag (Black) $16.90 it was just okay, not very sturdy. the little clip to hang it is inconveniently placed inside the bat holder compartment so the zipper has to be unzipped to hang it  Quilted Bags & Totes $24.99 Denise Clason has created a beautiful book with easy to follow directions with great step by step photos. The designs are fresh and current but are also timeless. This is a great book to have when you need to make a bag or tote for yourself or as a gift. I highly recommend this book! |
