60 Minutes - Superbug (November 11, 2007)
60 Minutes - Superbug (November 11, 2007)

$17.95
The DVD carries some good information on MRSA. It is current and easy to understand. However, it is very expensive for less than 12 minutes of video. You might think there is an hour of video time - 60 Minutes - Superbug. Instead, it is less than 12 minutes of actual footage from the 60 Minutes program. It is overpriced at $17.95 plus shipping. I paid $25 for the DVD and it works out that it is >$2.00 a minute. Otherwise, the information is timely.

This book is perfect for research for your child's science experiment. My child is 11 years old, and this book is good for what I would say would be for kids from 9-13. It has 32 pages with great color illustrations and wonderful information. It has a section on the Plague (in 1665) that killed a lot of the population because of a bacteria from fleas. There is a time line called "Earth Birth" that shows how bacteria help create the earth. It talks about how bacteria are good and bad, and how small they really are.

This is a wonderful book.
Enzymatic Therapy Acidophilus Pearls (90 Pearls)
Enzymatic Therapy Acidophilus Pearls (90 Pearls)

I was having lots of stomach problems due to taking several rounds of heavy-duty antibiotics for a sinus infection. I had never had a problem with diarrhea before but I was reaching for Imodium 2 or 3 times a week. I had a friend recommend probiotics and I purchased these Pearls based on Amazon user recommendations. I am glad I did. The little round pills have caused no negative side effects and my problems have ceased. It only took a few days to notice a difference. I am going to continue to use these on a daily basis because they obviously benefit my digestive tract.
