I will begin by saying that the author does not sugar coat his point of view concerning the opposite sex...and that is actually quite refreshing in this day of "rah rah girl power". While I'm not against women myself, I will not pretend to support the media-reinforced antics of today's Western women. I can't say that I agree with all of his tactics or perspectives though, mostly because I feel that men must respect themselves in order to retain the respect of those around them...including women. Still, his no-holds-barred armchair analysis on women's psychology seems to be more accurate than I would have concluded on my own. In a way, it seems to have the kind of simplification that would be presented by a college freshman who understands the game for what it is. While the tone of this book can be described as being tactical to say the very least, Brett does a good job pointing out the reality of the divorce industry. Men should read this chapter if they don't read any other one because Brett dispels several romantic notions perpetuated by our mainstream society.

Exactly the same amount of thought and effort went into the cover art as the content. I feel like I got punked by purchasing this book. If you're a moronic, slovenly misogynist, it'll be a great read and will assist you in disguising these characteristics. If you have two brain cells to rub together, it'll be a waste of 20 minutes of your life. The four people who rated it five stars must be the author. Please don't waste your time on this book. Even has boatloads of spelling and grammatical errors. Please give me my $10 back.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I saw it years ago and liked it then. But I was seeking for some relief from all the gloomy movies out now, not to mention that a lot of the recent romantic comedies have been total bombs. So I decided to watch it again. I truly enjoyed it. I think there is still a lot that can be done with romantic comedies that hasn't been done yet because for some reason, everyone seems to be so into duplicating what's all ready been presented. That being said, I like the whole metaphor of the stallions, the journey into Jimmie's past relationships, seeing Ed Asner and Hal Holbrook together. If you want to watch a romantic comedy for the enjoyment of it and not to criticize and compare it to other movies, I would recommend this picture. I think Chris O'Donnell did some of his best acting in this movie, and Renee Zellweger is one of my favorite actresses.
