![]() Leaving Atlanta: A Novel $17.99 I grew especially attached to the character Octavia while reading this lovely book, even before the final section, which focuses on her particular childhood trials and reveals the reason for the title. For me, Leaving Atalant was one of those reads that built up steam and interest, and edged its way into my heart until I was fully invested in what would happen to these kids. I was very sorry to reach the last page, but fortunately I can move on to The Untelling next. :-) ![]() Zagat Atlanta Restaurants (Zagatsurvey: Atlanta Restaurants) $12.95 As ususal when I get to a new city, I always get a Zagat's first thing. I will start from A and go to Z to get the scoop of all the great spots. Always reliable and great for newcomers. A must reference guide if you're a single guy and want to impress the girl of your dreams. ![]() Easy Elegance: Creating a Relaxed, Comfortable and Stylish Home $29.95 This is absolutely the best design book I've come across so far, the pictures are so beautifully alluring that in creates a deep curiosity to see what the words actually say to describe the image and its contents. If only finding the beautiful furniture was a easy as fliping through the gorgeous pages. ![]() Atlanta Braves Clean Up Adjustable Cap $17.00 I love this hat. It fits great and looks great. The twill is soft and comfortable, not rough as it appears in the photos. The hat is adjustable and the strap slides into a slot on the back to keep it out of the way. The buckle for the strap snaps on and off the back of the hat, making it easier to adjust. Unsnap it, adjust strap length, snap it back on and tuck the excess strap into the slot. You don't have to unsnap the buckle to adjust the strap, but it can make it easier to get a perfect fit. This is my second version of this hat. I wore out the first one and had to finally throw it out after about four years of wear. I was very happy to get a replacement. |
