![]() Professional Assembly Language (Programmer to Programmer) $49.99 I have long been looking for good information that is geared towards assembler in Linux as that is my preferred OS. I am happy to say that I am very satisfied with it. I haven't gone into it in depth but from what I have read, I am very impressed. Just take a look at the table of contents and you will see what I mean. I can recommend it to anyone interested in both assembler and Linux. ![]() Assembly Language Step-by-step: Programming with DOS and Linux (with CD-ROM) $55.00 This is a book I would highly recommend, and already have recommended, to anyone with an interest in what goes on under the hood of computers. It's written very clearly, starts at the very begining and assumes nothing. Having said that, if you have some knowledge you won't mind reading through the bits you already know because the book is very humerous and enjoyable to read. Definitely the best text book I have read in a long time. ![]() Introduction to 80x86 Assembly Language and Computer Architecture $127.95 I bought this book after one of my coworkers told me how great it was. I agree it is a great book, and would have been even more beneficial to me about a year earlier. This book is great for anyone interested in getting into hardware and assembly; however I wouldn't recommend this book for someone who has already entered the realm of hardware and assembly, even if like me you still consider yourself a newb. Overall it is a great book, unfortunately, it wasn't quite the book I needed. ![]() Assembly $19.95 This is one of the most powerful war movies I have ever seen. It contains the substance that no other movies so far can compare with. If you have little understanding about the conflict between Nationalists and Communists in China around 1940's, you will get more out of this movie which, in my view, defines the meaning of casualties in any war or armed conflict. |
