I have tried all kinds of things: distilled water, natural foods, prescription meds, all with little improvement in my Havanese's tear stains. After less than a week her stains were gone and she has less eye irritation! I use much less than recommended. I put 1/4 teaspoon in her food am and pm. At first she was resistant to eating it, but I persisted and she cleans her bowl. I plan to decrease to once a day and then 3 X a week as recommended. Definitely worth the money!!!!!!

As a veterinairan, we have known for a long time that antibiotics help solve the problem of brown staining on the face. This is because the antibiotic changes the bacteria in the tears/tear ducts that cause the tears to be pigmented. This problem of 'epiphora' or tearing is strictly one of cosmetics..in other words, it isn't a medical problem but a normal condition in many breeds and it does not require treatment. I don't know if this product is available in Canada as, in many cases, our regulations on distribution of antibiotics are tighter. I would certainly recommend consulting your veterinarian before using this product though it is likely not dangerous for most dogs.

I had barely a couple of days to get my friend a birthday present. When I saw the angel pendent I instantly liked it but I was a bit skeptical about the size. I have prime shipping and this product qualified for it which made my decision all the more easy. Not only did I receive this pendant within 2 days of placing the order but it looks very nice. Its just the right size. The only drawback might be that the chain is not very long although there are some levels of adjustments.
