I have seen the Mighty B! several times on Nickelodeon and, unlike many animated shows, it managed to keep my attention and garner a few knee slappers. These episodes are fast-paced, witty, and genuinely hilarious. "We got the Bee" is my favorite, but all the episodes will leave you smiling. Great buy!

Upright Citizens Brigade - The Complete First Season

The 2003 dvd release has a listed runtime of 292 minutes while this new 2007 edition has only 220 mins. One wonders what got cut. The '03 original contained several commentaries CC apparently took issue with, as well as the original pilot and deleted scenes. It was fairly stacked with features. Looks like this newer version takes away over an hour of them. Too bad. It's a great show, some of the best sketch comedy ever, just try to find the 2003 version if you can.

I'm a huge fan of the UCB show, and I adore the comedians individually. Perhaps that's why my hopes were high for Asssscat!

Oh, I suppose it's okay for improv (and the various actors seems to be enjoying themselves immensely), but it really pales in comparison to their scripted material. Sometimes an editorial eye can be really useful.

If you're new to the Upright Citizens Brigade, spend your money on the DVDs of the Comedy Central show. If you're already a fan, just don't get your hopes too high.

If you enjoyed the old "SCTV" show, you will enjoy the Upright Citizen's Brigade." Both comedy series' have that original, slightly warped vibe and wonderfully talented performers. Loved it.
