![]() So Long So Wrong $17.98 I looked in local stores here in Hawaii, could not find this CD. So I came home looked on line and there it was. One week later I had it. Great seller, I would buy again. ![]() A Hundred Miles Or More: Live From the Tracking Room $17.98 Absoulutely spectacular rcording and sound quality-true to the best of Alison's recording crew. Her last two cd's(100 Miles or More and Lonely Runs Both Ways were top notch but this takes the cake. Incredible detail and freq range bring out best in Alison's voice which seems to get better all the time any way even as she approaches forty years in age, The bass tightness and richness will knock you out of your chair. The most amazing thing at all is the staging and channel seperation absolutely amazing for a live studio recording-amazing by any standards. One of the things I love about Alison so much is her wilingness to no compramise financially on recoridng equipment and technology, I would say this disc has better sound quality than 90% of the SACD's and DVD Audio's in existence. Musically (if your not an audophile) I don't now if I'd reccommend this to any one who anyone who already has the 100 miles or more CD unless you love to look at Alison as much as you like listneing(as I do)She looks real good. The versions of the songs are maybe a little more emotional but not that much different ![]() Amazing Grace - A Country Salute to Gospel, Vol. 1 $17.98 Amazing Grace (A country salute to gospel) is a great gospel music for those who grew up on gospel and like country music artists. However, the artists that are listed above for this album are not correct. For example, "I'd Rather Have Jesus" is by Allison Krauss & The Cox Family featuring Suzanne Cox and "Kneel At The Cross" is by Charlie Daniels Band. "Amazing Grace" is by Lari White. "Peace in the Valley" is by John Anderson (*really* good). "Blessed Assurance" is by John Berry (absolutely wonderful). Martina McBride sings "How Great Thou Art." Can you imagine her signing that song? Awesome! "In the Garden" is by Billy Dean & Susan Ashton and is my favorite. "Mansion Over the Hilltop" is by Paul Overstreet. "Beulah Land" by Shenandoah. Emmylou Harris sings "Precious Memories." ![]() Kneel at the Cross $12.98 I really liked "Kneel at the Cross". The Hymns are rarely heard these days and it is so good to be able to hear them again. |
