![]() Mailbox Delivery Alert Mail box minder Chime LED Wireless Notification System $11.50 I bought this gizmo after finding pieces of our mail down the street in our suburban neighborhood. I have had it for 4 or 5 months in 104 degree Texas weather and it still works great. I have caught two people going through our mailbox and have been able to keep the kids across the street from playing on the mailbox, thus keeping them from damaging the mailbox. I have also gotten to know the mailman, because I see him almost every time he comes. I think being familiar with our mailman has caused less mistakes to be made. We used to get other peoples mail delivered to us about once a week and since the mailminder, it hasn't happened once. Cons: I have had to super strong glue to get the sensor to stick to the mailbox. I think the heat in texas melts the adhesive strip, but that is no big deal. ![]() Chamberlain PIR2-300S Sensor for Reporter Wireless Alert System $49.99 We are in a very dark isolated area and this makes our life a little more comfortable. Had a little trouble setting it up so it would work properly, but once it was angled right it works very well. We bought after seeing how well my brother's worked after 8 yrs. ![]() Complete Safety Alert System Watch (Girls Pink) $29.99 My husband got this watch for my oldest son and I was a bit skeptical as I didn't want to have to listen to the loud alarm all day long. The DVD was actually great and taught my son when to use the alarm and when not too. The parental controls are also nice so that I can shut the watch alarm off when he is safe at home. Great product. ![]() Navigon 2200T 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Text-To-Speech and Free Traffic Alerts $249.99 I bought my Navigon a little over a year ago. It's performance has been mixed, in line with much of the reviews here, but I've generally been happy with it. However, I can unequivocally state that you should NOT buy this product. Navigon has abruptly left the North American market, leaving customers, even those who purchased a device and map updates within the year, almost completely without support. If you buy one of these, you're buying a dead device with no hope of updates. |
